New things in your favorite game is something every gamer loves. Even when the game gets a bit monotonous, new events, patches, characters and quests make it even more interesting than before. It’s a skillfully constructed story that you explore like a book or a movie. That’s why we find out what’s new in Valorant new patch: 5.0!
What’s up with the maps?
New locations mean new visual and aesthetic experiences. Unknown places to be, often satisfying graphics. New map makes game more pleasant.
So what about new maps in patch 5.0? New map named Pearl is coming! It’s eighth map, and it’s an underwater world. As you can see – Atlantis was an inspiration. It’s located in Portugal. Beautifully rendered water structure and old Portuguese architecture are making an impression. In the same time, map named Split is temporary deleted in ranked and unranked mode.
Ranked game – what’s new in Valorant update?
There is a new rank – Ascendant. It is supposed to make dividing players into categories easier. It’s a little bit harder to be an Immortal and Radiant. MMR targets was changed.
You can form the group being Ascendant with players 3 steps below or 3 steps above you. Also, limited gaming in solo, duo or team (5 gamers) will start in Ascendant I, not in Diamond 3.
Some bugs are fixed in Valorant new patch
Now you can do a graffiti in Haven, on the wall in garden A. Fixed also three bugs regarding agents:
- Jett can’t load her gun during Tailwind.
- Agents revealed by Sova’s Recon Bolt or Fade’s Haunt now will not appear at wrong place at minimap.
- Now the scope’s visual effect will not disappear during using Chamber’s Tour De Force.
Game system bugs are also fixed in Valorant update. Now, if you will lost connect, progression bar will update itself. The moment of the shot will be more visible due to repair speed animation of equipment. The last one fixed bug is when you use an Ultimate point orb or defuse Spike at highest range, progress bar or skill loading animation will not flicker.
Valorant Episode 5 Act I – what’s new?
Passes
New Battlepass of Act I will allow you to get exceptional equipment: shining item, or items on fire. New event pass (from Jun.22 to Jul. 12) – you have to earn enough XP in time and can get Player Cards, Radianite Points and new Titles.
New skins
Prelude to chaos cause that weapons such like Spectre, Shorty, Vandal and Operator will look really impressive.
Valorant Episode 5 Act II – what can we expect?
Passes
A new event pass is waiting for you – Champions 2022 (from Aug.23 to Sep. 21). You can play, earn XP and get more exclusive prizes to your collection. There will also be new Battlepass of Act II associated with myths and legends.
New skins
You can expect also new skins – Champions 2022. Your inventory evolves with the number of defeated characters.
New placement
It will be a new placement – Competitive Act II.
A new character shrouded in mystery
