That game turned out to be a sequel to the popular Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Then we learned about new cod. Now, in the second half of September, we know all about the new production of the popular shooter developer. Find out all about the new Call of Duty!
What exactly is Warzone 2.0 and when will it be released?
Before we get to discussing what we already know about Activision's new production, let's briefly discuss what Warzone 2 is. As we wrote in the introduction, Call of Duty Warzone 2 is a sequel to the popular game in the CoD series. Game, on the other hand, is a supplement to the main game, so to speak. This production, which is being developed in parallel with CoD Warzone 2, will be a battle royal game. Warzone season 2 is expected to be a new take on the battle royale genre. Thanks to the novelties that the developers have planned, players are to have a lot of content to unlock while playing.
Thus, Warzone 2.0 is a separate game that is being developed alongside Call of Duty Warzone II. Game is scheduled for release on November 16, 2022. Both titles are expected to have a lot in common, such features as progression, weapons, and resources will be shared by the player. In addition, the developers announced that in CoD Warzone season 2 we will experience a new Gunsmith. It will reduce the amount of grind in the game, which can be a nuisance for some players. Many weapon enhancements will be universal, when one optic is encased, it will fit many weapons. Nevertheless, individual weapon upgrades will remain in the game.
Did you know that Fifa 23 is coming out soon? From here you will learn everything about it!
What new features have the developers planned for Warzone 2.0 gameplay?
Now that you know exactly what Warzone 2.0 is, let's move on to what will characterize this production. As you already know, the entertainment will be played in battle royal mode, but Warzone is supposed to stand out from other games of this type.
In order to diversify the gameplay for players, Activision has decided to update the systems that take place in Warzone. The first of these is a system called Gulag, which until now consisted of 1v1 duels, while in Warzone 2 it will be 2v2 duels. The game will be more interesting because the system will randomly pair you up with another player for the duration of the duel. After it is over, you will compete against each other again.
Another change is at the end of the match. In the final stage of the competition, the map is to feature several, rather than one, circles. The circles will separate players from each other creating individual duels.
Finally, the developers confirmed that cosmetics will not transfer from Warzone to Warzone 2. Of course, these are not all the changes, the developers say - many things are still in the pipeline, so they can't share everything with players. Do you want to become a streamer after the release of Warzone 2? This text will come in handy for you!
What will the map look like in Warzone 2?
Activision has announced a completely new map in its new production. Until now, players had a choice of 3 maps on which to play their matches. A single map will be available in Warzone 2 to cater to battle royale players. In exchange for the reduced choice in maps, the producers announced things to make it stand out from all the existing ones. Al Mazrah - that's what the new map in Warzone 2 is to be called, and it's supposed to be the largest of all the maps Activision has created so far. In addition, there is to be a lot of content on it, which will add variety to the gameplay. There will be many POIs on it, a variety of terrains, and even some that will be underwater. Al Mazrah will feature both areas from the old Modern Warfare 2 (Airport, Quarry) and brand new places. They will include both a large, bustling city and a desert.
A new mode in Warzone 2 - DMZ!
This is an element that, so far, is still shrouded in a veil of mystery. DMZ is to be a new mode that will be implemented in Warzone 2. Its gameplay is similar to Escape from Tarkov. Players will be tasked with looting and defeating enemies (players and AI) in order to survive. This mode is to remain in a sandbox climate. Before Warzone 2 premieres, check out the other games that are sure to appeal to you. You can find them here.
What will we play Warzone 2 on?
Initially Warzone 2.0 was supposed to appear only for the latest generation of consoles, fortunately for Playstation 4 and Xbox One owners, the final will be different. Due to the small number of latest-generation consoles on the market, Warzone will also be available for older consoles. Many gamers feared whether the CoD series would become another Xbox-exclusive title after Microsoft bought out Activision. It's unclear how it will be in the future, but Warzone 2 will also appear on the Playstation. The most interesting thing to say about the availability of Warzone 2 is that it will return on Steam! Thus, Warzone 2.0 will be played on: PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC!

=> 2022-10-04 05:07:15 [post_content] =>The Call of Duty - Modern Warfare reboot, which was released in 2019 by Activision, was a huge success. Most of its gamers loved the game and are looking forward to the continuation of the series. What will the new product bring? Here are some facts.
Release date:
Although it was initially assumed that CoD Modern Warfare 2 would be launched in November, according to Activision's website, the official release is scheduled for October 28, 2022. The first information about this year's release appeared as early as last year, shortly after the release of CoD Vanguard.
Older generation consoles
Unfortunately, Modern Warfare 2 will also appear on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Why is this not good news? Because releasing the game on an older generation of devices means worse graphics quality. Older consoles don't have enough resources to allow smooth operation of games dedicated to PS5 and the latest Xbox consoles.
However, there is good news for gamers. CoD Modern Warfare 2 probably won't require too many resources, so you don't have to buy a new computer to play it.
Beta tests
As with previous parts, Call of duty modern warfare 2 will be available a few days before the release. Playstation players will get access to the beta for a minimum of 5 days earlier than others, but users of other platforms, that is Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One and PC will also be able to test the product.
First to access the beta will be those who pre-purchase the game. This version will be available between September 16 and 26 and will be limited only to multiplayer mode.
Plot
Call of Duty modern warfare 2 2022 is a direct sequel to 2019's CoD MW. The action takes place 3 years after the end of the previous game. MW2 begins when Task Force 141 is already a well-known and respected military unit. We don't know much about the plot, but according to trusted sources, players will be put in the middle of a huge conflict and fight against a secret underground organization. In the game we will encounter, among others:
- Kyle “Gaz” Garrick.
- Simon “Ghost” Riley.
- John “Soap” MacTavish.
Multiplayer
Most players of the Call of Duty series do not even start the single player mode and fully focus on multiplayer. Cod modern warfare will offer the same as in the previous part, but more modes will also be added. These include:
- Prisoner's Rescue, which is expected to be similar to Search and Destroy, but there will be a much greater emphasis on the use of tactics. A lot of similarity to the gameplay in Rainbow Six Siege.
- Warzone 2, which is a revised version of Warzone from Modern Warfare 2019.
Most likely, players will see the following maps:
- Favela
- Terminal
- Highrise

Unfortunately, we don't have very good news. CoD Modern Warfare 2 will not be cheap. The prices of the console and PC versions will be the same.
- Standard edition (preorder)-a digital version offering beta access costs $70.
- Vault Edition (preorder)- digital version, offering beta access, red operator pack, combat pass and the ability to skip 50 levels costs $109.99.
The Call of Duty - Modern Warfare reboot, which was released in 2019 by Activision, was a huge success.

- Favela
- Terminal
- Highrise
- Quarry
